If you need to delay sending an order to the kitchen printer or kitchen video (KV), you can configure a seating area with specific flags that hold the order until the designated time.
This setup is useful for managing timed collections or future orders, and you need to follow the steps below:
Create a seating area in the system.
Check the following flags:
Prompt for customer name.
Prompt for collection time.
Don't send to KP's in the store Send.
Any order placed in this seating area will be sent to the kitchen at the time specified during ordering.
