If you need to prevent an order from printing in the kitchen after saving or paying the bill in EPOS Manager, you can use Function 182 – KP/KV Hold/Resume. This function allows you to hold specific items or entire orders from being sent to the kitchen printer.
Follow the steps below to set it up:
Log in to EPOS Manager.
Click POS Control and select POS Control again.
Select Functions.
Click New and enter a description for the function.
Select Function Type 182 – KP/KV Hold/Resume.
Set the Category:
Choose All Items to hold all items in the order.
Or select specific printer groups to hold only certain items.
Set the Type to Hold Order.
Click Save.
To use this function during a transaction, follow the steps below:
Enter the PLUs for the order.
Press the new function button.
Select the items from the journal that you do not want to print.
Complete the order as normal.
