To ensure your POS terminals reflect the latest changes made in EPOS Manager, youβll need to send updates manually or schedule them for later.
This process ensures your POS terminals stay up to date with the latest configurations and product changes.
Follow the steps below to manage updates effectively:
Send updates immediately
To send updates immediately, follow the steps below:
Click POS Control, then select POS Updates.
Locate your site and click the plus (+) icon next to it.
This will display all available updates ready to be sent.
To expand further, continue clicking the plus (+) icons next to each category.
Select all the relevant update options you wish to send.
Click OK.
In the confirmation pop-up, click OK again.
A prompt will appear confirming the updates have been sent.
π€ Tip: Updates may take up to 30 minutes to appear on the terminal. For immediate application, log onto the till and pull the updates manually.
Get till updates
To pull updates onto the terminal, follow the steps below:
Log onto your master terminal.
Click Program Mode.
Select Get Till Updates.
A run bar will appear showing the progress of updates being received.
Schedule updates
To schedule updates for a specific time, follow the steps below:
Click POS Control, then select POS Updates.
Find your location and click the plus (+) icon.
This will show all pending updates. Click additional plus (+) icons to view specific changes.
Select all the relevant update options.
In Send Date/Time, choose the date and time for the updates to be sent.
Click OK.
In the confirmation pop-up, click OK again.
A prompt will confirm that the updates have been scheduled.
