To redeem a loyalty card in EPOS Manager, you’ll need to complete a few setup steps before processing the transaction at the till.
Follow the instructions below to create the required media, add it to the payment keyboard, and redeem the loyalty card during a sale.
Media
Create a new media type in EPOS Manager to enable loyalty card redemption:
Click POS Control and select POS Control again.
Click Media and select New.
Enter a description for the media.
Set the Media Type to Loyalty.
Depending on your PosLink version, it may display as EPOS Manager Loyalty.
Tick Inhibit Over Tendering and any other required options.
Click Save.
Add media to the payment keyboard
Click POS Control and select Keyboards.
Click Payments Keyboard.
Drag and drop the loyalty media onto an empty button.
Click Save.
📌 Note: Remember to send the media and payments keyboard updates to the tills using POS Updates.
Redeem loyalty
To redeem a loyalty card, log onto the terminal in sales mode and follow the steps below:
Log onto the terminal in sales mode.
Enter the sold items in the journal.
Click Loyalty (this is the new media button you created).
Enter the gift card number and click OK.
Pay the transaction off as normal.
