Create deposit redeem media
To process redeemed deposits efficiently, you’ll need to create a dedicated media type in EPOS Manager and assign it to your payments keyboard.
Follow the steps below to set this up correctly.
Log in to EPOS Manager.
Click Pos Control and select Pos Control again.
Click Medias and choose your location if required.
Click New.
Enter the following details:
Description: Deposit Redeemed.
Media Type: Deposit.
Opens Drawer: Don't open the drawer.
CID Total: Does not affect CID.
Sales Type: Sale And Refund.
Under Flag 1, tick Inhibit Over Tendering and No Change Given.
Click Save.
Add media to the keyboard
To add the newly created media to your payments keyboard:
Click Pos Control and select Keyboards.
Click Payments Keyboard.
From the Unassigned dropdown, select Medias.
Drag and drop the media onto a blank box on the keyboard.
Click Save.
📌 Note: Remember to send all changes over to the terminals using Pos Updates.
