Enable print function on kitchen video screen

Enable printing from KV screens to kitchen printers.

To enable printing directly from the kitchen video screen to a kitchen printer, your system must be running the updated software called KVLink.

πŸ€“ Tip: The older version KVLink, does not support this functionality.

πŸ“Œ Note: If you're still using KVLink, please contact your Account Manager to arrange an upgrade to KVLink.

To enable the print function on kitchen video screen, follow the steps below:


Configure printer

To configure the printer,follow the steps below:

  1. Log onto the KV screen.

  2. Exit to Program Mode.

  3. Click Select Program/Programming.

  4. Click Printer Network.

  5. Click Add and complete the setup details.

  6. Click Save.


Create a print function

To create a print function, follow the steps below:

  1. Exit to Program Mode.

  2. Click Select Program/Programming.

  3. Click KV Functions.

  4. Click New and enter a description.

  5. For Function Type, select Print.

  6. Choose the print format from the dropdown menu.

  7. Click Save.


Add the function button

To add the print button to the bump bar, follow the steps below:

  1. Exit to Program Mode.

  2. Click Select Program/Programming.

  3. Click KV Bump Bar and select the KV screen.

  4. Select KV Function and drag the Print option to a blank button.

  5. Click Save.


Send program changes

To send the program changes to the back office, follow the steps below:

  1. Exit to Program Mode.

  2. Select Send Program To StockNet.

  3. Click SEND ALL.

  4. This will remove the Send option from all items.

  5. Click on Printer Network, KV Functions, and KV Bump Bar.

  6. This will re-enable the Send option next to these items.

  7. Click OK.

⚠️ Important: If these changes are not sent back to EPOS Manager, they will be lost the next time updates are pushed from the back office. Always complete the send process to retain your configuration.
