To help your kitchen staff track and manage cooking times efficiently, you can configure the Kitchen Video (KV) screens to display countdowns for specific dishes using the KV List profile type.
Enable cooking times on kitchen video screens
Follow the steps below in EPOS Manager to enable and set up this feature:
Log in to EPOS Manager.
Navigate to POS Control and click on KV Control.
Click on the KV Profiles option.
Choose the profile used on the kitchen screen where cooking times should be displayed.
From the Boot Mode dropdown list, select KV List (option 2).
Choose the countdown direction by selecting the appropriate option from the Timer Type dropdown list.
Save the profile and send the KV Update to the Kitchen Video Network to apply changes.
Set cooking times for individual dishes
To set cooking times for individual dishes, follow the steps below:
Access your EPOS Manager account.
Go to POS Control and click on PLU.
Choose the PLU you want to update.
Navigate to the Flags 2 tab.
In the Cooking Time (Mins) field, input the required number of minutes.
Save the PLU and send the POS Update to the POS Network to apply the changes.
