Unable to sell condiments

Troubleshooting condiments not appearing or selling on OrderGenie devices.

The issue occurs when condiment PLUs are not exported to OrderGenie, preventing them from being added to orders.


PLU configuration

To verify the PLU configuration, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to EPoS Manager.

  2. Click Pos Control and select PLU.

  3. Select the location and search for the PLU.

  4. Check if the PLU has a Sales Group assigned.

  5. Click Save.


Verify sales group

  1. Log in to EPoS Manager.

  2. Click Pos Control and select Pos Control.

  3. Click Sales Group and select location.

  4. Click on the three dots button and select the Sales Group.

  5. Verify if the Sales Group has a Major Group assigned.

  6. Click Save.

πŸ“Œ Important: If either field is empty, the PLU will not be exported to OrderGenie.


Update values

To update missing values within a PLU, follow the steps below:

  1. Assign appropriate Sales Group and Major Group values to the condiment PLU.

  2. Sync the changes to OrderGenie.

πŸ“Œ Note: Both Sales Group and Major Group values are required for PLUs to be exported to OrderGenie. Missing values will prevent items from appearing on the device.
