To enable condiment selection when a PLU is pressed, you first need to create the relevant PLUs and ensure each has a condiment price set. Then, you can configure a condiment keyboard and link it to the PLU in EPOS Manager. This setup ensures the condiment keyboard pops up automatically when the PLU is selected.
Follow the steps below to complete the setup:
Create keyboard
In EPOS Manager, click POS Control and select Keyboards.
Click Main Keyboard and then click New.
Click General and enter a name for your keyboard.
Click Items and select PLUs.
Add all the PLUs you want to appear when the main PLU is selected.
If customers can choose more than one option, click Cond Flags, tick Stays Down Until Max Items, and set the Max Items to the total number of choices allowed.
Set the Min Items to the minimum number of choices required. This prevents exiting the screen until the minimum is selected. This step is optional.
Click Save.
