Prompt for customer name and contact number

Enable contact tracing data collection.

To enable a prompt for customer name and contact number during table service, you must first ensure that your seating areas and table numbers are correctly set up in EPOS Manager.

Once that’s in place, follow the steps below to activate the prompt feature:

  1. Log into EPOS Manager.

  2. Click POS Control and select POS Control again.

  3. Click Seating Areas.

  4. Select the seating area where you want to enable the prompt.

  5. Click Flags and tick Prompt For Customer Name and Prompt For Customer Phone.

  6. If needed, tick Don’t Print On Receipt and Don’t Print On KP to suppress these details from printing.

  7. Click Save to apply the changes.

  8. Send all changes to the terminals using the POS Updates section.

This setup ensures that staff are prompted to collect customer details when assigning tables, helping improve service and record-keeping.
