Tables and tracks are not syncing

Fix table and tab synchronization between terminals

To enable any till to close an open track or tab, follow the steps below:

πŸ“Œ ​Note: You must complete these steps on all terminals and tablets you have on site.

  1. Log in to the till, then click Program Mode.

  2. Click Programming/Program Options.

  3. Click Terminal Configuration.

  4. Check the IRC Location is correct, then select Flags 1.

  5. Select the options below:

    • If these options are already selected, clear them all and save, then select them all and save again.

      • Floating clerks.

      • floating tables.

      • floating tabs.

  6. Click Save.


Add firewall rules

Your firewall rules can stop tables and tracks from syncing properly.

To check the firewall rules, follow the steps below:

πŸ€“ ​Tip: Depending on your internal setup, you may need support from your IT team.

  1. Log in to Program Mode.

  2. Click Add Firewall Rules.


Run PosLink as admin

⚠️ Important: Make sure that you're running the PosLink as an admin.

To do this, follow the steps below:

πŸ“Œ Note: You must complete these steps on all terminals and tablets you have on site.

  1. Shut down your Pos program

  2. Right-click on the PosLink icon.

  3. Select Properties, then click Compatibility.

  4. Select Run this program as an administrator.

  5. Click Apply, then click OK.
