Exclude orders from the KV display

If orders show on the wrong Kitchen Video screen, despite correct Terminal Configuration, check for mismatched seating areas or order media settings.

If an order is being sent to the wrong Kitchen Video (KV) screen despite a correct setup in Terminal Configuration, you can adjust the KV settings directly on the terminal. This ensures orders are routed only when conditions match the intended KV configuration.

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

  1. Log onto the terminal in EPOS Manager.

  2. Click Program Mode and select Programming/Program Options.

  3. Click KV Options.

  4. Select the relevant KV.

  5. Go to the Flags tab and untick Always Enabled.

  6. Click Save to apply the changes.
