To connect and configure a pager in EPOS Manager, follow the steps below:
📌 Note: This setup allows you to trigger pager alerts directly from your terminal using a custom function.
Configure the pager in PosLink
Log in to Program Mode.
Click Select Program.
Find Pager Types.
Click Add New and enter your description.
Locate Coms Type, select TCP/IP, and enter your IP address.
Select Vibe 3 within Pager Mode.
Click Save.
Connect the pager in PosLink
To make the pager selectable, follow the steps below:
Log in to Program Mode.
Click Select Program.
Find Pagers.
Click Add New and enter your description.
Enter your Pager ID.
Create buzz pager function
To create the buzz pager function:
Log into Program Mode.
Select Function.
Create a function called Buzz Pager.
Click Save.
Add Buzz pager function to bump bar
To add the buzz pager function to the bump bar:
Log into Program Mode.
Drag and drop your new Buzz Pager function to the keyboard.
Click Save.
📌 Note: Your pager is now configured and ready to be triggered from the bump bar.
