If your rear display connected to the terminal is not showing items correctly or you wish to change its format, you can adjust the settings directly through EPOS Manager. These steps will help ensure your rear display shows items correctly and is formatted to suit your operational needs.
Rear display
Follow the steps below to configure the display and ensure it functions as expected:
Log onto the terminal connected to the rear display.
Click Program Mode and select Program Options/Programming.
Click External Devices and select Rear Display.
Set the Comms Mode to Rs232 and enter the correct COM port.
Click Test to verify the connection.
Click Save to apply the settings.
Display format
To change the display format, follow these steps:
Log onto the terminal.
Click Program Mode and select Program Options/Programming.
Select Terminal Configuration, then click Flags 3.
Set Rear LCD Display Type to Journal.
Note: You can also change the screensaver to display pictures.
Click Save to confirm the changes.
