To set up a receipt printer in EPOS Manager, the configuration steps will depend on how the printer connects to the terminal.
Follow the instructions below based on whether your printer uses a COM port or a USB connection:
COM Port
For a COM port receipt printer, log onto the terminal the printer is connected to:
Click Program Mode and select Programming/Program Options.
Choose Printer Network.
Click Add New to create a new printer, or select the existing printer if it is being replaced.
Ensure the Comms Type is set to RS232.
Confirm the correct terminal is selected.
Verify the COM Port matches the port the printer is plugged into.
Click Save.
USB port mapping
For a USB receipt printer, log onto the terminal the printer is connected to and complete the USB mapping first:
Click Program Mode and select Program Options/Programming.
Click USB Port Mappings.
Select a USB port.
Click on the USB Port option.
Choose the option showing Connected.
Click Save.

Click Printer Network.
Select the relevant printer.
Ensure the correct USB port is selected and test the printer.
Click Save.
