If you would like to top up a gift card with a fixed amount while allowing the customer to pay less, you can do this by creating a minus-value PLU in EPOS Manager.
Follow the steps below to set it up:
Click POS Control and select PLU.
Select your location.
Click New.
Enter the description and sales group.
Leave the price blank.
Click Flags 1.
Tick Allow Price Override and PLU Is Negative Value.
Click Save.
📌 Note: You can now add the PLU to your keyboard.
After entering the gift card value as normal, select your negative price PLU and enter the amount to deduct from the bill.
The gift card will still show the full value, but the customer will pay the reduced amount.
