To allow any clerk to settle open tables without requiring a waiter ID, you’ll need to update both the card machine settings and the clerk security level in POS Control.
Follow the steps below to complete the setup:
Card machine:
On the card machine, click the Settings button in the top left.
Click Settings again.
Select Integrated Payments.
Enter the supervisor code.
Select Pay at Table and ensure it’s green (enabled).
Click WaiterID.
Set it to OFF.
Now, when you press the Settle Table button, a list of open tables will appear that any clerk can settle.
Clerks:
Click POS Control and select POS Control again.
Click Clerk Security.
Open the relevant clerk security level.
Click Features 1.
Tick Allowed To Open Any Table In Any Area.
Click Save to apply the changes.
