To ensure uninterrupted service in case of device failure, you can configure a backup printer for your Kitchen Video (KV) Network using either PosLink or EPOS Manager.
Follow the steps below based on your access level:
PosLink
If you use PosLink, follow the steps below:
Click on Program Mode and select Programming.
Search for Kitchen Video Network in the list.
Find and select the KV you want to assign a backup printer to.
Under Back Up Method, select Printer.
Under Backup Device, scroll and select the required printer.
Press Save.
EPOS Manager
If you use EPOS Manager, follow the steps below:
Log in to EPOS Manager and navigate to POS Control.
Select POS Control.
Choose Kitchen Video Network and select the Location.
Use the ellipsis to find the KV.
Under Back Up Method, select Printer.
Under Backup Device, select the required printer.
Click Save.
