Modify the terminal network VLAN configuration

You can change the terminal’s VLAN settings to ensure it connects to the correct network segment for secure and reliable communication.

📌 Note: You will need access to program mode to make this change. If you don't have this permission, contact your head office directly.

You can change the VLAN either directly on the terminal (PosLink) or through EPOS Manager.


On the Terminal (PosLink)

  1. Log onto the terminal.

  2. Click Program Mode and select Programming/Program Options.

  3. Click Terminal Configuration.

  4. Change VLAN No.

  5. Click Save.


Through EPOS Manager

  1. Log in to EPOS Manager.

  2. Go to System Maintenance and select Locations.

  3. Select the relevant location.

  4. Open the Tills tab and click Edit for the desired till.

  5. Locate VLAN No. and update it to the correct value.

  6. Save your changes and send them to the terminal.
