Custom denominations for Cash Declaration - You can now configure custom denomination values within the Cash Declaration process. This gives you greater flexibility when declaring cash at the end of a shift, particularly for sites that handle non-standard note or coin denominations.
Semnox integration - Access EPOS now integrates with Semnox, so you can connect Semnox-managed loyalty and cashless payment systems directly to Access POSLink and EPOS Manager.
Refund transaction search improvements - We've improved refund transaction search for high-volume sites. The results list is now larger and filterable, so you no longer need a 20-character barcode reference to locate transactions.
Date, time and currency formatting for Germany - If you're using Access EPOS in Germany, date, time and currency values now display in the correct German format across configuration screens, reports, popups and exports.
Table Plan API enhancements - The Access EPOS table plan API now accepts a single payload containing multiple table plan levels and tables. A new clearExisting flag lets you clear all existing table plan levels on the POS before applying an update, making it easier to keep your table reservation system in sync.
What we've fixed
We've resolved several issues within the Access EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) application:
EPOS Manager freezing when switching screens - Fixed an issue where switching between screens too quickly caused a white screen with a loading message that would not resolve without a manual page refresh. Screens now load reliably without requiring a refresh.
Duplicate PLU records with Procure Wizard MDR integration - Fixed an issue where Price Look-Up (PLU) records were being duplicated when dishes were created or updated via the Procure Wizard MDR integration. This no longer occurs.
EPOS Manager: email settings save button greyed out - Fixed an issue where the save button on the Email Settings screen remained greyed out after entering details, preventing users from saving their configuration. The save button now becomes active as expected.
Fix Duplicate Records utility not working - Fixed an issue where the Fix Duplicate Records utility in EPOS Manager (System Maintenance > Utilities) returned an error regardless of which tables were selected. The utility now runs correctly.
Stock Report printing to PDF showing blank page - Fixed an intermittent issue where printing a Stock Report to PDF via Spooled Reports produced a blank single-page PDF with no data. This was particularly common at month end. Stock Reports now render correctly when printed to PDF.
EPOS Manager dashboard weather widget not displaying - Fixed an issue where the weather widget on the EPOS Manager dashboard was not displaying data for some locations, despite postcodes being correctly configured. Weather data now loads reliably for all configured locations.
RELAY: duplicate transaction on split bill - Fixed an issue where splitting a bill in Access POSLink caused the second transaction to be rejected by RELAY due to a duplicate transaction reference. Split bill transactions are now processed correctly.
How to access this update
This update is available from 18 August 2026 for early-access customers, and from 19 August 2026 for all remaining customers. This update will be applied to your system automatically, so no action is required.
