What's new?
Site-specific purchase order emails - Purchase orders can now be sent from the email address configured for each individual site location, rather than the central system email. This means suppliers receive emails from the correct site and can reply directly to the right team, improving communication for multi-site operators.
Default Seating Area in terminal configuration - A new Default Seating Area option has been added to the Change Terminal Config function in Program Mode. POS administrators can now quickly update the default seating area for a terminal directly from the function button, without navigating through the full configuration menus. This is particularly useful for venues that reposition terminals for events or seasonal changes.
Kitchen Video SMS notifications - Kitchen Video SMS notifications now work correctly as a fully reliable notification workflow. SMS messages send automatically when an order arrives, services appear correctly in the interface list, and staff can amend phone numbers if a send fails. This enables customer-facing notifications such as "your order is ready" messages.
What we've fixed
We've resolved the following issues within Access StockLink and EPoS Manager:
Deposit media values missing from financial reports - Fixed an issue where deposits taken through EPoS Manager were not recording the payment method (media) values correctly in End of Day, End of Session, End of Day by Group, and End of Week reports. These values now appear accurately, ensuring reliable financial reconciliation and cash-up processes.
Action buttons hidden when browser is zoomed - Fixed an issue on the Customers page where the Save, Cancel, and Delete buttons became hidden when the browser zoom level was changed, making it impossible to save changes. Buttons are now always visible regardless of zoom level, and they also adjust automatically to avoid being obscured by the help chat launcher.
PLU numbers not displaying for new dishes - Fixed an issue where newly created dishes were not showing their PLU numbers in EPoS Manager, making it difficult to identify and configure them. All PLU items now display correctly, including those created recently.
POS terminals showing 401 error on load - Fixed an issue where POS terminals were displaying a "401 unauthorised" error when loading, preventing them from authenticating and starting up correctly. Terminals now connect and authenticate successfully on startup.
CSV export failing after template selection - Fixed an issue where the CSV export function returned an error when a location-specific template had not been customised. Data exports now complete successfully in all configurations.
Duplicate items appearing on Kitchen Video displays - Fixed an issue where updating PLU Counter Groups and Cooking Adjust Times caused duplicate entries to appear on Kitchen Video displays. Kitchen staff now see accurate, deduplicated order information.
Email settings password field appearing empty after reload - Fixed an issue where the password field in email settings appeared blank after saving and navigating away, even though the value had been saved correctly. The field now displays as expected, removing any uncertainty about whether credentials were stored.
Overlapping page titles in EPoS Manager - Fixed an issue where page titles were overlapping with other interface elements, making screens difficult to read. Titles now display correctly without obscuring other content.
Unexpected session timeouts during active use - Fixed a configuration issue that could cause users to be logged out unexpectedly during an active session. Sessions are now more stable for users working across extended periods.
Slow page load times after periods of inactivity - Fixed an issue where EPoS Manager could be slow to respond after a period of low usage, caused by database connections not being maintained in the background. Page load times are now consistent, including after idle periods.
π Note: This release includes security improvements to further protect your data and the EPoS Manager application.
