PLU button unavailable on device

Troubleshooting greyed-out PLU buttons on OrderGenie devices.

This issue occurs when a PLU button appears greyed out with a line through it, indicating the item has been disabled on the master till.


Check PLU status on the master till

To verify the status of a PLU, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the PLU on the master till.

  2. Look for a red X in the top left of the button indicating the PLU is disabled.

  3. Enable the PLU on the master till if it's disabled.


Refresh the OrderGenie device

  1. On the OrderGenie device, refresh the screen by holding and dragging down from the top.

  2. Verify the PLU is now available and no longer greyed out.

πŸ“Œ Note: PLU availability is controlled by the master till configuration. Changes must be synced to the OrderGenie device using the pull-down refresh gesture.
