Customisations include creating new keyboards, adding keyboard items, and setting font types and colours in addition to button size and colours.

To create a main menu Keyboard, please log in to EPOS Manager and follow the steps below:

  1. Click POS Control and select POS Control.

  2. Click Keyboards and select Main Keyboard.

Adding the keyboard

  1. Click New.

  2. Drag and drop your PLUs from the drop-down menu onto the buttons.

  3. Click Save.

General Tab

Under the general tab, you can give your keyboard a description, and set the theme for the buttons.

Keyboard item types

Under the items tab, you have a list of item types that can be added to the keyboard.
Main Menu Options is where most items lay, however, you also have the ability to add page keys, which allows you to create multiple pages for the keyboard using the Add Page button at the bottom, or clerk keys.

Adding items and sizing the button

  • To increase the size of the button, click on the button and drag down/right to extend your selection. Press make big to make the button bigger.

  • To add a button to the keyboard, start by selecting an item type. Once the list has loaded, choose an item and click, drag, and drop it where you want it.

  • Right-clicking a button gives you the ability to copy the font, button, or the entire page.

You can also press the Edit Key to make changes to the key, including font, text size, button, text colour and more.

Clearing a key

To reset a key to the default, blank state, press Reset Key in the bottom left corner, whilst you have the button to reset selected.

Setting the Font and Colours

In most cases, you will want a lot of buttons to have a matching colour scheme.

  1. Start by changing the font and colour settings of one button.

  2. Once you’ve set up one button, right-click and press Copy Font and Colours.

  3. Next, highlight the buttons you want to paste the colour and fonts to by clicking and dragging.

  4. Now just press Paste Font and Colours in the bottom left.

πŸ“Œ Note: Once you are happy with the general layout you can continue by dragging and dropping the required PLUs to the location of your choice.
