If your rear display screen connected to the terminal is not powering on, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue before raising a support case. These steps will help determine whether the issue is hardware-related or due to configuration settings in EPOS Manager.

Follow the instructions below to check the hardware and BIOS settings:

  1. Check that all cables are securely connected to the rear display and the terminal.

  2. Plug the screen into a different till to test if it powers on.

  3. If the screen works on another till, proceed with the following steps on the original terminal.

  4. Plug a keyboard into the till.

  5. Restart the till and press the DEL key on the keyboard during startup to enter the BIOS setup screen.

  6. Select the Advanced tab.

  7. Click on VGA/COM Configuration.

  8. Change the VGA Power setting to 12v.

  9. Select the Exit tab and choose Exit Saving Changes.

  10. The till will restart, and the screen should now power on.

If the screen is still not working, please raise a new case online.

πŸ“Œ Note: Be sure to include the make, model, and serial number of the screen in your case submission.
