If your rear display screen feels loose or unstable, you can tighten the bracket by following the steps below. This process involves removing the screen, accessing the mounting screws, and reassembling the unit securely.
β οΈ Important: Please ensure the till is powered off before starting.
These steps will help ensure your rear screen is securely mounted and functioning properly within EPOS Manager:
Remove the screen
Power off the till and unplug it from the main socket.
Remove the rear cover of the till by sliding it upward.
Disconnect the power and display cables from the customer screen.
Remove the two thumb screws on the back plate.
Place the screen face down on a clean cloth to prevent damage.
Access and tighten the screws
Remove the six screws on the plastic cover or covers.
Remove the four screws holding the bracket to the screen.
Tighten the four silver screws to secure the bracket.
Refit the covers and screen
Refit the bracket to the screen.
Reattach the plastic cover/s.
Reconnect the customer screen to the till.
Reconnect the power and display cables.
Refit the rear cover.
Plug the power back in and switch on the till.
