To enable clerks to manually switch price levels during transactions in EPOS Manager, you can add a dedicated button to the till’s function bar.
📌 Note: Before proceeding, ensure the relevant price level has already been created and that prices have been assigned to the applicable PLUs.
⚠️ Important: You will need program access to complete this setup. Please contact your head office if you don’t currently have it.
If you have access to the function bar keyboard in EPOS Manager, the same steps can be followed there:
Log in to the till.
Go to Program Mode, then select Program Options.
Open the Function Bar Keyboard—this will display your current layout.
Use the dropdown in the top right to select Functions (it usually defaults to PLU).
Locate Function 87 – Price Level.
Drag and drop it to a suitable position on the keyboard.
Click Save.
📌 Note: Remember to send the change back to the EPOS Manager from the program keyboard.
To use this function, press the Price Level button before selecting your item.
The item’s price in the journal will reflect the new price level.
Be sure to reset the price level after use to avoid unintended pricing.
If you experience any issues, please raise a new case online and reference this article.
