Configure the default price level on your POS terminal to ensure consistent pricing across transactions. This is useful for managing tiered pricing structures such as retail, staff, or promotional rates.
β οΈ Important: The default price level set on the terminal may be overridden by the clerk's security settings. If a clerk is assigned a different price level within their security profile, the terminal will apply that level instead of the default. This ensures pricing reflects the permissions and roles assigned to individual users.
To set or change the default price level on a terminal, follow the steps below:
Log in to the terminal.
Click Program Mode, then select Programming/Program Options.
Navigate to Terminal Configuration.
Locate the Default Price Level setting and choose the desired price level from the drop-down menu.
Click Save to apply the changes.
π Note: This will need to be completed on all terminals that you want this price level to be used on.
