Configure PosLink to launch automatically at Windows startup

To ensure PosLink launches automatically when Windows 10 starts, you’ll need to add it to the system’s startup folder.

Follow these steps:

  1. Select the Start button and scroll to find the PosLink app.

  2. Right-click the app, select More, then choose Open file location. This opens the folder where the shortcut is stored. If this option isn’t available, the app cannot be set to run at startup.

  3. With the file location open, press Windows logo key + R, type shell:startup, then select OK. This opens the Startup folder.

  4. Copy and paste the shortcut for PosLink from the file location into the Startup folder.

Once complete, restart the till to apply the changes.
