Kitchen video timing alerts setup

The time shown on the ticket should start flashing or visibly alert once the configured threshold has been reached.

To help kitchen staff respond promptly to delayed orders, you can configure the Kitchen Video (KV) system to trigger a visual alert when a ticket reaches a set time threshold.

Follow the steps below in EPOS Manager to enable flashing alerts.

  1. On the KV screen, press Exit to return to the main menu.

  2. Select Program Mode and navigate to KV Profiles.

  3. Choose the appropriate profile for your configuration.

  4. Under the General 1 tab, locate the field labeled Flash Time After Seconds.

  5. Enter the desired value (e.g., 120 for 2 minutes).

  6. Click Save to apply the changes.

πŸ“Œ Note: Once configured, the ticket time will flash red when the threshold is reached, alerting staff to take action.
