Clerk session locked on tablet or terminal

Instructions for resolving issues related to a clerk's session being locked on a tablet or terminal.

⚠️ Important: If a clerk is locked out of a terminal or tablet, please reach out to a team member on site who has access to Program Mode. If you do not have access to Program Mode, reach out to us.

They should follow these steps to restore access:

  1. Log in to the terminal.

  2. Select Program Mode, and choose Reset Track Locks.

  3. Click OK.

πŸ“Œ Note: This process will unlock the clerk’s login and restore their access to the terminal or tablet.
