Set a static IP address

Configure fixed network addresses for devices.

To configure your device with a fixed IP address, follow the steps below. This ensures stable network communication between your terminal and EPOS Manager, which is essential for consistent system performance.

  1. Click the Windows Start icon.

  2. Type Control Panel and click the icon.

  3. Click Network and Sharing Center.

  4. In the left pane, click Change adapter settings.

  5. Select Local Area Connection.

  6. Right-click and select Properties.

  7. The window will open with the Networking tab selected by default.

  8. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.

  9. The Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window will appear.

  10. Select Use the following IP address.

  11. Enter the required details for:

    • IP address

    • Subnet mask

    • Default gateway

    • DNS server

  12. Click OK, then click OK again.

  13. Close any open windows.

Your device is now set to use a fixed IP address, helping maintain reliable connectivity with EPOS Manager.
