Until now, Alerts in EPoS Manager could only notify users via email, leaving a gap for users without an email address and adding noise to already busy inboxes.
Why are we doing this?
The Send Feed Notification addresses this by:
Delivering alert notifications to users who do not have a company email address configured.
Reducing reliance on email for operational alerts that need to be seen quickly.
Keeping notifications within the Access Evo platform rather than dispersed across inboxes.
Making it easier for managers to act on alerts without switching between systems.
How it works
When setting up an alert in EPoS Manager, administrators can now choose to notify specific Evo users directly through the platform, the same way they receive other Evo notifications.
Simply select:
Send Feed Notification.
Pick the relevant users from the list.
Select Save.
π Note: There is no need to manage email addresses separately.
Setup
Open or create an Alert
Log onto EPoS Manager.
Navigate to Alerts.
Open an existing alert or click New to create one.
Set Action to Send Feed Notification
In the Action dropdown, select Send Feed Notification.
The Feed Users dropdown will appear below.
Select recipients
Click the Feed Users dropdown to see all Evo Identity users.
Use the search box to filter by name or email, then check the users who should receive the notification.
Save the alert
Complete the remaining alert configuration (Monitor Type, Event Type, conditions)
Click Save.

Note: The notification will be sent automatically whenever the alert conditions are met.
