Until now, EPoS customers had to use separate, third-party payment systems alongside Access EPoS and those systems came with real limitations.
Why are we doing this?
GuestPay SDK integration provides the following key functionality:
Keeping payments running during internet outages — transactions queue on the device and send automatically when connectivity is restored.
Reducing walk-out risk on high-value table bills through pre-authorisation functionality.
Enabling full and partial refunds, always returned to the original card.
How it works
Payments are initiated from the bill screen.
EPoS Manager communicates directly with a Verifone P630 chip & pin device configured at location level:
Clear success or failure feedback shown immediately.
A combined EPoS + card receipt prints automatically on completion.
Setup
Configure devices at location level
Log onto EPoS Manager.
Navigate to Location Configuration.
Add the Verifone P630 device IP address and port.
Set a default chip & pin device per EPoS terminal.
Initiate a payment
From the bill screen, select Pay.
Select GuestPay as the payment method.
EPoS sends the request to the configured default device.
Staff can switch to an alternative device in ≤2 clicks if needed.
Process the payment
The customer presents their card on the chip & pin device.
On completion, success or failure is shown immediately with an explicit message.
Print the receipt
A combined EPoS plus card receipt is offered automatically after each successful transaction.
Process a refund
Navigate to transaction history.
Select the original transaction.
Select Refund.
Full or partial amounts can be selected.
📌 Note: The GuestPay SDK – Pay-at-Counter integration is available to Access EPoS customers who have been onboarded with a GuestPay merchant account and have Verifone P630 devices provisioned.
