My Tablet is not working

Troubleshooting steps to resolve common tablet issues and restore device functionality.

If your tablet isn't working or responding properly, this can affect your ability to process orders and manage your business.

Follow the troubleshooting steps below to quickly identify and resolve common tablet problems:

  • Check the power and battery

    • Ensure your tablet is charged by connecting it to the charger and power outlet. Look for charging indicator lights or a battery icon on the screen. If the battery is completely drained, leave it charging for at least 15-20 minutes before trying to turn it on.

  • Force restart the tablet

    • If your tablet is frozen or unresponsive, perform a force restart. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds until the device turns off, then press the power button again to turn it back on.

  • Check your network connection

    • Verify that your tablet is connected to Wi-Fi. Go to your tablet's settings and check the Wi-Fi connection status. Try disconnecting and reconnecting to your network, or forget the network and reconnect by entering the password again.

  • Check the touchscreen response

    • If the touchscreen isn't responding properly, ensure the screen is clean and free from cracks or damage. Remove any screen protector temporarily to see if it's interfering with touch sensitivity. Try using different areas of the screen to identify if the issue is localized.

  • Close and restart the application

    • If a specific app isn't working, close it completely by accessing your recent apps or task manager and swiping it away. Then reopen the application. This can resolve app-specific freezing or performance issues.

  • Check storage space

    • Low storage can cause tablets to run slowly or apps to malfunction. Check your tablet's available storage in Settings > Storage. Delete unnecessary files, photos, or apps to free up space if needed.
