To prevent further use of a terminal after it has been cashed up, you can create a Lock Terminal function in EPOS Manager.
Follow the steps below to configure this setting:
Sign in to EPOS Manager.
Click POS Control from the navigation bar.
Click Functions and check if Lock Terminal is listed.
If it is not listed, click New.
Add the Description as Lock Terminal.
Change the Function Type to #141 Lock Terminal.
Enter the Unlock Code.
Press Save.
Add the Lock Terminal function to the Function Bar via Keyboards in POS Control.
Send the changes to the POS using POS Updates.
🤓 Tip: The POS will now lock when the function is pressed, preventing clerks from using the terminal until the unlock code is entered.
