When a room is booked via Guestline with inclusive items such as Breakfast, Dinner, or Drinks, it is important that the EPOS Manager communicates these inclusions correctly during posting.
π Note: The logic for validating inclusivity is managed by Guestline, but EPOS must send the appropriate shift allowance to trigger it.
This is done by setting up a Timed Event in EPOS Manager:
Log in to EPOS Manager.
Go to the POS Control menu.
Select POS Control again.
Use the filter to search for Time Events.
Click Add NEW.
In Description, enter a name for the timed event (e.g., Inclusive Dinner).
For Event Type, select Rooms Shift Allowance No from the dropdown.
In Shift Allowance No, enter the number required by Guestline (e.g., 3).
Set the Date/Time to define when and on which days the system should apply this shift allowance.
Click Save.
Once set, any transaction posted to a room during the specified time range will include the shift number.
