Set up a timed event

Configure automatic time-based system changes.

Timed events in EPOS Manager allow you to automate specific actions based on date and time. These can include price changes, keyboard updates, sales restrictions, and EFT settings.

Below are examples of how to configure two common timed events:


Set up a timed event to change the keyboard

  1. Log in to EPOS Manager.

  2. Click POS Control, then click POS Control again.

  3. Click Timed Events, then click New and enter a description.

  4. From the Event Type list, select Keyboard Level Change.

  5. From the Keyboard No list, select the required keyboard.

  6. Enter the date and time you want this to apply.

  7. Select Event Enabled.


Set up a timed event to stop selling a PLU

  1. Log in to EPOS Manager.

  2. Click POS Control, then click POS Control again.

  3. Click Timed Events, then click New and enter a description.

  4. From the Event Type list, select Prohibit Selling Item.

  5. Set the adjustment group accordingly.

  6. Enter the date and time you want this to apply.

  7. Select Event Enabled.
