You can set up wastage tracking in EPOS Manager to help monitor and manage stock loss efficiently. This setup includes creating a wastage function, a view record button, and assigning the necessary media and functions to your keyboard layout.
Create the Wastage function
To create the Wastage function via StockLink, follow the steps below:
Open POS Control.
Locate Functions.
Select Site location, then click New.
Enter the description.
Function Type 165 enter wastage.
Change wastage method to wastage book to approve on Pos, or Direct to approve on StockLink.
Select any additional options as required.
Click Save.
Create a view wastage record button
To create a view wastage record button, follow the steps below:
Open POS Control, then click Functions.
Select Location, then click New.
Enter Description to View Wastage Record.
Change Function Type to 245 View Wastage Record.
Click Save.
Create the Wastage media
To create the Wastage Media, follow the steps below:
Open POS Control, then click Medias.
Select Location, then click New.
Change Description to Wastage.
Change Media Type to Wastage.
Click Save.
Add functions to the Function Bar keyboard
To add these functions to the Function Bar keyboard, follow the steps below:
Open Keyboards within POS Control on the navigational bar.
Click Function bar β Main Bar.
Select Location.
To add the Wastage Features, you need three button spaces available. Click Add Page to create space if required.
Change the drop-down from Unassigned to Functions.
Drag and drop the new Enter Wastage button and View Wastage Record onto the keyboard.
Change the drop-down from Functions to Medias.
Drag and drop the new Wastage Media onto the keyboard.
Set the security on the View Wastage Record to Manager (optional).
Click Save Keyboard.
