To add wastage in EPoS Manager, please log in to EPoS Manager and follow the steps below:
Click Stock Movements and select Wastage.
Select your location and click New.
Enter the date and select either Add Product, Add PLU or Add Recipe depending on the wastage you need to enter.
Double-click on the item in the pop-up list.
It will prompt the user to enter a quantity.
Click Add to add the item to the wastage record.
You can add all the items you require within this screen.
Once all items have been added, click Close.
You have columns across the top of the screen:
Case Size column is the unit of product. Most will be each, especially if wasting a PLU.
The Wasted column is the amount of the case size.
The reason represents the reason the product was wasted. This is from a customizable list of reasons that can be set in reason codes.
Comments allow a custom type a reason.
Clerk allows the user to set the clerk for all the items in the list.
At the bottom, the wastage reason drop-down allows users to set a wastage reason to all of the products, recipes, and PLUs in the list.
Once you have populated the relevant columns, click Save.
