In EPOS Manager, using recipes allows you to add detailed breakdowns to your PLUs, giving you more accurate reporting on product usage. Recipes help track exactly how much of each item is consumed when a PLU is sold, improving stock control and visibility.
A recipe adds an extra layer of detail to the information stored in a PLU.
You can use recipes to report the exact quantity of each product used when selling a PLU.
For example, a cheeseburger recipe might include one bun, 200g of beef, and 50g of cheese.
When the cheeseburger PLU is sold, these quantities are deducted from stock and shown in reports.
