If your site operates under a centralised setup, changes should be made at your head office location within EPOS Manager. Once configured, you must perform a bulk update to distribute these changes to the relevant locations.
Follow the steps below to complete the process:
Log in to EPOS Manager.
Go to System Maintenance and select Bulk Updates.
Select the location you want the updates to come from, such as Head Office.
Choose one of the following options:
Show All, to display all files available for update.
Changes Only Since Date/Time, to filter by items changed after a specific date and time.
Select the relevant option and click Next.
In the first column, tick the items you want to send.
In the second column, select the locations you want to send the update to.
Click Next.
Choose one of the following update timing options:
Don't send, just add to the POS Update/Changed Items List.
Send Updates Now.
Send Updates On, for scheduled updates, where you select the date and time.
Select the relevant option and click Next.
Click Update Now to complete the process.
π Note: Bulk updates will only update the EPOS Manager location. To apply changes to the terminals, you must send them using POS Updates.
π€ Tip: If you are a centralised site and encounter the error Zero price not allowed, you will need to bulk update both the PLUs and the price levels to ensure terminals receive the correct pricing information.
