In EPOS Manager, there is a utility that allows you to bulk import and update PLU prices and their 'in use' status. This feature helps streamline product updates across your system.
β οΈ Important: This process is not available if you are using centralised PLUs.
To import and update PLU pricing information, follow the steps below:
Populate the template file with the required data.
In EPOS Manager, click System Maintenance.
Click Utilities and select File Import.
Click Add, then click Choose File in the modal window.
Locate and select the populated template file created in step 1.
The file will be uploaded and validation will be performed.
Any issues found with the file will be displayed on screen.
A new row will appear in the file import grid with a status of Pending.
Once complete, the status will change to Imported.
Below the import screen, you will find details on how to correctly fill out the template file:β
Field Name | Comments |
Apply Date | Ensure the format is retained. It should be DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM. When setting a date/time in the file, it needs to be at least 20 minutes ahead of the current time at the point of upload |

In Use | This should be TRUE or FALSE |
Location | EPoS Manager location code. |
Mod01, Mod02 etc | These relate to the modifier prices stored against the PLU. Mod01 = Sales Price 1, Mod01Cond = Sales Price condiment 1 |
PLU | The PLU number of the selling item you want to update the price for |
Price Level | The price level to update |
