This setting controls how transaction numbers behave on receipts. Normally, these numbers reset to 1 at the End of the Day, but enabling this flag changes that behavior:
Transaction Number Does Not Reset determines the numbering at the top of each receipt.
By default, transaction numbers reset to 1 at the End of the Day.
If the flag is ticked, transaction numbers will continue counting up.
