Access POSLink v1.0.4.137 release notes

September 2026

Written by Jon Lee

What's new?

  • Enhanced tips and service charge function - You can now configure a flexible, rule-based service charge directly within Access POSLink, without relying on the previous adjustment-based workaround:

    • Automatically calculate a fixed or percentage charge on the bill subtotal

    • Restrict the charge to specific items, a minimum number of covers, set times and dates, or particular seating areas

    • Give cash tips their own line on the receipt, so they can be refunded independently of the card payment

    • Add a custom name for the charge, such as "Service Charge", which displays on receipts

What we've fixed

We've resolved several issues within the Access POSLink application:

  • Deposit Taken keyboard limit - Fixed an issue where the on-screen keyboard for the Deposit Taken function would not accept manually entered amounts over 9,999.99. You can now enter deposit amounts of any valid size.

  • Kitchen Message keyboard Cancel button - Fixed an issue where the Cancel button was missing from the on-screen keyboard when adding a kitchen message, which could leave staff unable to exit the screen.

  • Paid Out and Complimentary keyboard space bar - Fixed an issue where the space bar was missing from the on-screen keyboard when processing Paid Out or Complimentary transactions, which prevented multi-word entries.

  • X-read triggering a Z-read - Fixed an issue where running an X-read report would also trigger a Z-read, resetting the session and affecting end-of-day sales figures. X-reads no longer affect your Z-read data.

  • Adyen receipt prompts - Fixed an issue where tills integrated with Adyen card machines would still show receipt prompts after a card payment, even when receipt printing was switched off in your settings. Adyen now behaves in line with other payment integrations.

  • Table Bookings walk-in error - Fixed an issue where confirming a walk-in in the new Table Bookings UI could show an error saying the table couldn't be found. Walk-ins now open correctly.
