Add a spend limit on tabs

You can create spending limits and notifications for customer tabs, in a few easy steps.

To add a spend limit, you will need to create a new function and then add it on tabs.

Create function

To create a new function, log in toEpos Manager and follow the steps below:

  1. Click Pos Control and select Pos Control.

  2. Click Functions.

  3. Select your location and click Add New.

  4. Enter a description.

  5. In Function Type select function 152 Track Spend Limit.

  6. Add a % to notify when approaching the spend limit, if required.

    • For example, if you add 10% and the spend limit is Β£100 it will notify you at Β£90.

  7. Click Save.


Add function

You can now add this function to your function bar by following the below steps:

  1. Click Pos Control and select Keyboards.

  2. Select Functionbar - Main Bar.

  3. Using the Unassigned drop-down, select Functions.

  4. Drag and drop the newly created function to the keyboard.

  5. Click Save.

Remember to send all changes over to the terminals using Pos Updates.

πŸ“Œ ​Note: When you open a new tab, you can click the new function on your keyboard to allocate a spending limit. This will then notify you when the spending limit is close to being reached.
