Resolve discrepancies between business sheet and stock result figures.

If you notice a discrepancy between your business sheet figures and the stock result, it may be due to incorrect PLU groupings or stock account assignments.

You can investigate and resolve this by reviewing the PLU setup in EPOS Manager:

  1. Log onto EPOS Manager.

  2. Click POS Control and select PLU List.

  3. Select your location, and choose either a sales group, primary group, or major group.

  4. Tick Show Account/Stock Info.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Click Excel to export the data.

  7. Once the spreadsheet opens, sort it by the Stock Account column.

  8. Check for items that may be incorrectly grouped—e.g., a food item listed under a drink stock account, or an item split across multiple groups.

  9. Amend the incorrect group within the PLU/Stock Account.

  10. Once updated, the report will reflect the corrected figures.
