If you notice a discrepancy between your business sheet figures and the stock result, it may be due to incorrect PLU groupings or stock account assignments.
⚠️ Important: Business sheets and stock results use different formulas, so they may never match.
You can investigate and resolve this by reviewing the PLU setup in EPoS Manager:
Log onto EPoS Manager.
Click POS Control and select PLU List.
Select your location, and choose either a sales group, primary group, or major group.
Tick Show Account/Stock Info.
Click Next.
Click Excel to export the data.
Once the spreadsheet opens, sort it by the Stock Account column.
Check for items that may be incorrectly grouped—e.g., a food item listed under a drink stock account, or an item split across multiple groups.
Amend the incorrect group within the PLU/Stock Account.
Once updated, the report will reflect the corrected figures.
