Ensure your VAT calculations are accurate by checking and updating formulas in Business Sheets and Stock Results following a VAT change.
Business sheets
With business sheets being highly configurable, there are several scenarios. These are dependent on your business sheet configuration and the formulas used.
In the Daily Sales menu, click Business Sheets.
Hover the mouse cursor over VAT field. The formula being used will appear in a small window.
If the formula being used INCLUDES *1.2 or \1.2\PLUVAT β Your VAT will be correct, and the formula will not need to be amended.
If the formula DOES NOT INCLUDE *1.2 or \1.2\PLUVAT, the formula will need to be modified to a new vat formula, contact us.

An example PLU with incorrect VAT.
Confirm where you're checking the VAT figures.
What VAT formula is your business sheet using?
What VAT formula is your Stock Result using?
Stock results
With stock results being highly configurable, there are several scenarios. These are dependent on your stock result configuration and the formulas used.
In the menu, click Designers.
Click Stock Result Designer.
Choose your layout.
You may have multiple layouts to amend.
Click the Result Tab and check all formulas are using VAT, not *1.2.
Any formula using *1.2 will need to be amended to VAT[enter category number].
π Note: The formula should be VAT[..]. Between the brackets should be the category code or zero for all, if you have one stock result for all stock.
