Integrate click and collect platform with Access Epos

Proper configuration ensures that your digital menu reflects your in-store offerings.

It is essential to use Access Epos Back Office PLUs in third-party Click and Collect dashboards when integrated.

⚠️Important: PLUs, should not be created on the third-party platform under any circumstances. If a PLU has been created in the third-party platform and the customer orders that item, the order will fail.

To successfully use Access EPOS with the integrated Click and Collect platform, you'll need to follow a series of configuration steps to ensure seamless order processing and accurate transaction handling.

Create a web order menu group

To create a web order menu group, follow the below steps:

  1. Open Access Epos Back Office then go to System Maintenance.

  2. Select Codes Maintenance.

  3. From the drop-down, choose Web Order Time/Menu Group.

  4. Click Add and type in the description.

  5. Click Save.


Create PLU main categories

To create PLU main categories, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to System Maintenance then select Codes Maintenance.

  2. From the dropdown menu choose Web Order PLU Main Categories.

  3. Select Add and create a category for Food.

  4. Select Add and create a category for Drink.

  5. Click Save.


Create web order subcategories

To create web order subcategories, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to System Maintenance then select Codes Maintenance.

  2. From the dropdown menu, choose Web Order Subcategories and select Add.

    • Note: Add a new category for each section of the menu. For example, starters, mains, and desserts.

  3. Click Save.


Allow PLU for online ordering

To allow PLU for online ordering, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to Pos Control then select PLU List.

  2. Select your location then select a Primary Group, Major Group or Sales Group.

  3. Select Show Web Ordering Main Fields.

  4. Select Show Web Ordering Menu Groups.

  5. Select Show Web Ordering Subcategories.

  6. Click Next then select Allow Online for each PLU you would like to integrate.

  7. Select the menu group you created for each PLU you would like to integrate.

  8. Select the relevant subcategory the PLU should be included in.

    • Note: A single PLU can be used in multiple subcategories.

  9. Click Save.
