To manage ledgers, you can view, add, and settle ledger entries directly from your terminals.
Follow the steps below to complete each process:
View a ledger
To view a ledger on the tills, first add function type 212 View Ledgers to your function bar:
Log in to sales mode on your terminal.
Click View Ledgers.
Click OK.
Add a new ledger
To add a new ledger, ensure the option is enabled on your terminals.
Log in to EPOS Manager.
Click POS Control and select POS Control again.
Click Global Flags.
Select Flags 1.
Scroll down to Ledgers and Deposits.
Tick Allow Add New Ledger.
Click Save.
Ledger media
You will also need to create a new ledger media:
Click POS Control and select POS Control again.
Click Media and select New.
Type in the description and change the media type to Ledger.
Click Back Office.
Find Available for Ledgers/Deposits and tick Ledgers.
Click Save.
Add this media to your payments keyboard.
π Note: Remember to send all changes to the terminals using POS Updates.
Once setup is complete, you can just log in to the terminals.
Add the PLUs you want to include in the ledger to your journal.
Click the new media button you created and select the ledger.
Settle ledger
To settle a ledger on the tills, add function type 220 Ledger Settlement to your function bar:
Log in to sales mode on the terminals.
Click Ledger Settlement.
Enter a value.
Select the ledger/customer.
Click OK.
Pay the transaction off as you normally would.
π Note: If you now use the View Ledger button, you will see that the amount entered has been settled against the selected ledger.
