We're pleased to announce the Access POSLink v1.0.4.141 release, focusing on more reliable Deliveroo orders, smoother stock handling and stronger security.
What's new?
There are no new features in this version.
What we've fixed
We've resolved several issues within the Access POSLink application:
Biometric clerk search: You can now find any clerk when you search by name in the Assign Thumbprint window. Previously, the search only returned some of your clerks, so you had to sort the list and scroll to find the right person. The search now returns all matching clerks, including newly created ones.
Vita Mojo notifications: Fixed an issue where every synchronised till sent its own notification to Vita Mojo whenever a price look-up (PLU) was enabled or disabled. This created a high volume of duplicate notifications and could cause notification limits to be reached on connected delivery services. When you use the Use PLU Stock Qty Advanced option, only the master till now sends the notification.
Shelf life wastage at end of day: Fixed an issue where the end of day process wasted stock before it reached its shelf life expiry. This happened when new stock or top-ups were added to a PLU. The expiry now reflects the new stock, so only the quantity that has actually expired is wasted.
Deliveroo orders timing out: Fixed an issue where Access POSLink could fail at random when checking for new Deliveroo orders, then wait around 10 minutes before trying again. Orders that arrived in that window could time out on the Deliveroo tablet and need to be added manually. Access POSLink now recovers more reliably, so orders reach your till.
Atreemo discount and adjustment totals: Fixed an issue where the transaction sent to Atreemo showed an incorrect total for discounts and a total of zero for adjustments. Every order line was also sent without its own unique identifier. Totals now match the individual order lines and each line is identified separately, so loyalty points, vouchers and adjustments are attributed correctly.
Security updates: Updated several software components used by Access POSLink to remove known vulnerabilities. We've also strengthened how Access POSLink checks incoming connections before accepting them.
